Meet Doyle
Betty was expecting her third child when she received a terminal cancer diagnosis. In her moment of despair, she turned to God, praying, "Let me know the truth before I die." In a miraculous turn of events, her next appointment revealed she was healed, and months later she gave birth to a healthy baby boy, Doyle Jackson. From the very beginning, Doyle's life has been a testament to God's grace and miraculous power.
Armed with a degree in World Religions from the University of Tennessee and a Master of Divinity from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, Doyle has dedicated his life to understanding and sharing God's Word. His academic journey also took him to Israel, where he completed postgraduate studies at The Jerusalem College, deepening his understanding of faith, Scripture, and culture.
In 1998, Doyle and his family moved to Columbus, Ohio, where he breathed new life into a struggling church, transforming it into The Church Next Door—a thriving and growing community of faith.
During the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, Doyle launched a television program on the local NBC affiliate. His message reached a wider audience and caught the attention of Salem Communications, who invited him to host a daily radio program on their statewide station, WRFD.
Raised by a veterinarian father and influenced by the pioneering spirit of a church planter, Doyle brings a unique blend of practical wisdom, compassion, and biblical conviction to his ministry.
For more than thirty years of marriage and ministry, Doyle has faithfully encouraged people to take "their next step" with Jesus. Through his preaching, teaching, writing, and broadcasting, he continues to inspire people to grow in their faith, discover God's purpose for their lives, and follow Christ one step at a time.
