Today I have been reading Matthew 17 & 18 as well as reading the weather reports of Storm Dorian off the coast. Storm Dorian has already hit many Islands. I’m sure many of the islanders have been praying through the storm, “God please calm Dorian.” I don’t remember living through a hurrican but my parents tell me we did when I was a child.

Mustard seed faith can move mountains. Matthew 17:20-21.
Mustard Seed Faith and Angus Buchan
Jesus invites us to move mountains. He says it just takes a tiny bit of faith. This is a picture of a Mustard see I receieved from Angus Buchan back in 2015 when he visited The Church Next Door here in Columbus. Angus has prayed for God to have mercy on many occassions. He has seen God change the hearts and lives of many. Here is a short 5 minute video of how God moved in 2010.

Angus Buchan gave me this vial of mustard seed when he visited Columbus back in 2015.

This is a good time to gather and pray for those in the past of the Storm “Dorian”.
Gather with someone today and ask them. Will you pray with me for the people in the path of Dorian. The Scripture says, “You rule over the surging sea;
when its waves mount up, you still them.” (Psalm 89:9 NIV)
Let’s ask the Lord to help. We will all face storms.

Praying through the storms of life is not easy but necessary.
