Wednesday Night Devotion from Psalms 103 & Proverbs 2:10 April 22, 2020
1. What is the hardest thing to do when you are tired or stressed?
Matthew 9:36 36 When he (Jesus) saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.
2Corinthians 1:3 3 [ Praise to the God of All Comfort ] Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.
It’s God’s nature to heal & give life.
It’s difficult to think of others and have compassion.
2. How can I help others when I feel drained? (What do when your on “E”?)
You and I must go to the source of life.
He is infinite, always present and abundant.
Psalm 103: 1—2
1 Praise the Lord, my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name. 2 Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits—
